Sportswear with a Twist
I think the best and worst fashion moments happen when you try something a
little unexpected and pair things that you wouldn't initially put
together. Sometimes it comes out amazing and of course you run the risk
of it being tragic - but either way it's show stopping and out of the
ordinary. With sportswear being big, I love putting a girly spin on it.
For this outfit I paired a Zara "Jersey" Sweatshirt (other option from ASOS) with a Zara mini
skort (which I think every girl in America owns) with an amazing Juicy Couture Bling Statement Necklace, Bcbg Pocahontas Booties, and Tom Ford
sunnies. Yay or nay?

Leather Pleats and Pixelated Prints
I know you guys are probably so over me posting about leather - but I can't help my obsession. I love the way leather looks trendy and luxurious with a sexy twist. I found this amazing lamb leather pleated skirt from BCBG and was able to bag it 60% off (thank god). I love this skirt because you can take it a couple different directions.
For this outfit I tried to take it a date-night direction by wearing it with a full coverage shirt. The pixelated print is a sheer silk top from BCBG also. Here's another great BCBG print top - they are great for any occasion - both work and nights out. Ignore my untamed hair below
I accessorized the look with an oversized python Rebecca Minkoff Clutch. I found the same one on sale on Bluefly. I carry clutches almost every time I go out at night and this is my absolute favorite shape/silhouette. My favorite thing about this bag is that the hardware is actually black so you can wear it with both silver and gold jewelry.
You've probably noticed these wedges being featured in a few of my posts - I found them 2 years ago on Lulu's and then wore them out/beat the crap out of them so much that I searched the internet to find them so I could reorder them for this Spring/Summer. They are actually a brand I've never heard of - Yoki but they are the perfect mid-height and a great neutral color. Ever girl needs a go-to pair of wedges for summer right? The icing on the cake with this outfit were my Men's Tom Ford Sunnies that I used to hide the designer bags that I was sporting under my eyes

Loving Leather
I've always loved leather so I am so happy that it's a huge trend right
now (and even going into spring!) This is a great work (in my
office it is) to Happy Hour outfit. This outfit is a hodge-podge of brands from
no-name pants to Chanel earrings. I love mixing and matching low and
high price points for an elevated "look."
I got the blazer on sale from Zara a while ago and the best part is that the leather sleeves are attached making it one piece. Here are some aesthetically similar & affordable options: option 1 option 2
Lastly, the big designer steal of this look = the Tom Ford sunglasses. They are actually Mens and retail for $420 but I found them on Amazon for $239

The leather-like pants are from a boutique down on south street seaport (now closed) for $29 but here is the Zara online option
The bag is a great everyday bag from Zara. Similar option here And the Pumps are Kelsi Dagger and I got them online at DSW. Similar option here
